Use the Answer Library

Answer Library helps teams find and reuse approved response material when completing questionnaires. Reuse is an accelerator, not automatic approval: the person submitting a response must verify that the answer fits the current wording, scope and evidence.

In the app: /settings/integrations

Before you start

• The platform must enable Answer Library globally and a workspace admin must opt the workspace in.

• Assign an owner, review date and permitted source for every reusable answer or connected provider.

Step by step

1. Enable the workspace capability

An admin opens Settings → Integrations and enables Answer Library when the control is available.

2. Connect the approved source

From the available Answer Library connection flow, connect the supported provider or use the native library. Test access with non-sensitive content.

3. Add or review entries

Store a concise approved answer with enough keywords and context for retrieval. Remove secrets and identify facts that need periodic review.

4. Search from an RFI response

Use Answer Library search or the available drafting action while answering. Compare the suggested text with the exact question and project scope.

5. Adapt and verify before submission

Update names, dates, product scope and evidence. The respondent remains responsible for the final answer even when AI or a library entry drafted it.

Do not place secrets or unapproved confidential material in reusable answers.

What happens next

• Well-maintained entries improve consistent answers without changing the versioned questionnaire itself.

• Retire obsolete entries and disconnect a provider when ownership or permission changes.

Troubleshooting

The Answer Library toggle is absent

The feature is not globally available in this environment; a workspace admin cannot enable it locally.

Search returns an irrelevant answer

Use more specific product, policy or compliance terms, then correct the entry’s keywords and context after review.

A connected provider returns no results

Check the connection status and provider permissions, then reconnect if the token or authorisation has expired.
