Why is Sagan priced this way?
Enterprise procurement suites are priced for enterprise procurement teams — 50-person departments, 8-figure budgets, and 6-month implementations. That's not most teams doing software selection.
Sagan is built for the Digital Transformation Lead running their third platform evaluation, the IT Manager who has to compare five vendors by the end of the quarter, and the Procurement Analyst who inherited a folder of spreadsheets. We're not trying to replace SAP Ariba. We're trying to replace the Google Sheet.
Early access pricing is locked in for life for anyone who signs up now.
Common questions
What counts as a project?
A project is a single software evaluation — for example, an HSSE platform review, an LMS selection, or a CRM replacement. Each project has its own vendors, evaluation templates, and reports.
Do vendors need to pay or create accounts?
No. Vendors receive a secure link to complete their RFI in your branded portal. They never need a Sagan account and you're never charged for vendor access.
What about stakeholders doing the scoring?
Stakeholders (internal or external) can score via a secure link. No account required. You only pay for your own workspace seat, not for every person who scores a vendor.
Can I run all three evaluation phases on every plan?
Yes. Demo scorecards, vendor RFI, and stakeholder scoring are available on all plans. The difference between plans is the number of active projects and vendors, not which features you get.
What happens when my trial ends?
You'll be prompted to choose a plan. If you don't upgrade, your account moves to read-only mode — you can still see all your data, you just can't create new evaluations.
How is this different from Loopio or Responsive?
Loopio and Responsive are built for vendors — teams that respond to RFPs that their customers send them. Sagan is for the buyer side: the team doing the evaluation and selecting the vendor. Different problem, completely different product.
Is my data secure?
All data is stored in ISO 27001-certified infrastructure with full tenant isolation. Row-level security means your evaluations are never visible to other tenants. We never share your data with third parties.
