Choose notification delivery preferences
Control which event groups reach you in-app, by email or by push.
Your notification matrix controls delivery by event group and channel. It does not change what you are permitted to see, remove existing notifications or alter another member’s settings.
Before you start
• Decide which project, task, message and security events require immediate attention and which can be checked in the app.
• To use Push, allow notifications for the Disqovr site or installed app on the current device.
Step by step
1. Open the matrix
Go to Settings → Notifications. Read each event-group description before changing its delivery channels.
2. Select in-app delivery
Keep In-app enabled for events you want retained in the notification centre. Use Mark all read to clear attention state without deleting the event history.
3. Select email delivery
Enable Email for events that need to reach you away from the app. Workspace send-hour settings can influence scheduled delivery, while transactional security mail may be handled separately.
4. Select push delivery
Enable Push for time-sensitive groups, then grant the device permission when prompted.
5. Save and test
Choose Save preferences and wait for confirmation. Trigger a harmless relevant event or ask a colleague to mention you to confirm the intended channel.
What happens next
• Only future event delivery uses the updated preferences.
• Open Profile → Notifications to review in-app items and follow them back to their source records.
Troubleshooting
Preferences revert after leaving the page
Choose Save preferences and wait for the Saved state before navigating away.
Email is missing
Check the event group is enabled, your profile email is verified and the message is not in a filtered or spam folder.
A notification opens a page you cannot access
Your project membership or role may have changed after the event was created. Ask the project owner to verify current access.
